The fine print, in plain language.

1. The service

BdCardGen lets you create cinematic birthday celebrations — animated, interactive web pages built from the names, messages, and photos you provide — and share them through a unique link. Creating and viewing celebrations is free and requires no account.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, names, and messages you upload. By creating a celebration, you give us a limited license to store and display that content solely to operate the service — nothing more.

You are responsible for what you upload. Only upload photos and words you have the right to share, and only create celebrations for people who would welcome them. Don't upload anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or infringing on someone else's rights. We may remove celebrations that violate these terms.

3. Celebrations expire

Every celebration — including its photos — is permanently deleted 7 days after the birthday date set at creation. After that, the link stops working and the content cannot be recovered. If the celebration matters to you long-term, save your photos and message elsewhere too.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, threaten, or embarrass anyone.
• Upload content you don't have the right to share.
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape at abusive scale, or circumvent the service's security or rate limits.
• Misrepresent a celebration as coming from someone else.

5. No warranties

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We aim for celebrations to work beautifully on every device, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BdCardGen and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
